That can add value, but we can’t pretend that the room addition was free right? So we encourage you to run the numbers. Get estimates, look up houses the size you are looking for on Redfin or Zillow, and see which option makes the most sense for your family. While you may not be overly sold on a room addition, you owe it to yourself to see which option puts you and your family in the best spot. You may be able to find adequate space for your lifestyle if you move.
